Israel carried out covert attacks on two major gas pipelines inside Iran this week, two Western officials and a military strategist affiliated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps told The New York Times on Friday.
The attacks resulted in explosions that disrupted the flow of heat and cooking gas to provinces with millions of people, the report said.
“The enemy’s plan was to completely disrupt the flow of gas in winter to several main cities and provinces in our country,” Iran’s Oil Minister, Javad Owji, told Iranian media on Friday.
Owji, who had previously referred to the blasts as “sabotage and terrorist attacks,” stopped short of publicly blaming Israel or any other culprit, but said that the goal of the attack was to damage Iran’s energy infrastructure and stir domestic discontent.

I guess it was Unwise to make Israelis angry.
If only it were true. But most likely it was a domestic operation by good Iranians opposed to the dictatorship of the crazies.
Either way, What it does point out is just how vulnerable Iran really is — take out just a handful if known targets and the country’s evil government is crippled — somebody’s gonna lose patience with all the Terrorism and threats — it is bound to happen. A couple well- placed air sorties could achieve a great deal in a matter of just hours.
No reason for Israel to waste resources on a nuisance attack. If it was cover for taking out high-value human targets, it might make sense.
If I’m not mistaken, their is a resident group inside and near Iran fighting the Islamic dictatorship.
Banisadr. National Council of Resistance. And Kurds, and a few other persecuted minorities.
If anyone wants to blow up pipelines in the US, all they have to do is to cross the Rio Grande river and carefully walk thru openings in razor wire. Easy peesie.

More likely the guy in charge of safety was surfing the net for "Hot Camels that Want to Meet YOU!" rather then doing his job.
