I still don't understand this verdict. Aren't our property taxes determined by the county assessor? We don't pay property tax on our own opinion of our property's worth, but on its assessed value.
Similarly, I assume that insurance companies do their own evaluation of how much a property is worth when they establish insurance rates for that property. And how would overestimating the value of your property get you lower tax rates or lower insurance premiums? Furthermore, no bank or insurance company claimed that Trump cheated them. None of this makes sense except as a personal vendetta and repulsive sideshow of media grandstanding by a corrupt, partisan judge.
