Looks pretty bad - at a minimum the ship is taking on water. Might (might) be sinking.

The crew got off the ship ok.

A US Air Force drone crashed off Yemen last night no official talk yet but the leaked-out stuff along the lines of there were Houthi SAM’s trying to bring it down.

The crash of the US drone ‘in connection’ with the effort by the SAM’s to down it we are told.

Attacks had diminished a bit the last week or so, as have attacks in Syria and Iraq, but the last couple days have been busy near Yemen. An actual sinking of a British cargo ship would certainly up the ante.

We are doing a lousy job of protecting shipping.

Why did a Brit ship attempt to go via the Red Sea anyway? The US & UK bombing has done nothing to thwart the Houthis. Actually the US is embarrassing itself by its inability to stop them and should just leave the area.

This entire Houthi situation is a HUGE positive for our fighting men and women. We are gaining experience and intel on these new gueriulla tactics in a situation where it only affects shipping. We will be far more prepared in a future conflict when it really matters.

Brits don’t take this shit on the high seas lightly. At least historically.

Our trillion dollar navy is powerless to stop an irregular army shooting off some dirt cheap missiles and drones. How many hundreds of millions in missiles and other expenses have we already thrown at them? That’s our MIC!

The British ships don’t even have missiles to fire.

I know this ship had fertilizer, but I was reading that there is a disruption in the supply of black tea to Britain because of the Houthi attacks. “Freight is being sent around the Cape of Good Hope in Africa, adding as many as 14 days to delivery times.”

Might have offed some Houthis at probably a million dollars cost to us per. No effect in stopping the Houthis extremely successful efforts in disrupting world trade though.

The next big crisis will be between Guyana and Venezuela with the Venezuelans disrupting Panama Canal and Southern Caribbean shipping in response to US intervention. Just keep stressing the supply chain.

We will be far more prepared in a future conflict when it really matters.

The Good Lord knows we oughta be -- cause we sure have not been prepared in any conflict so far.

What a disaster!

This Operation Prosperity Guardian, the so-called 10-nation coalition, is turning out to be just another massive boondoggle by a woke military.

What is that famous quote from Einstein about doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results? He sure got that one right!

“In another development, EU foreign ministers meeting in Brussels approved a mission to help protect international shipping in the Red Sea. It aims to have the operation which will involve four ships from France, Germany, Italy and Belgium up and running in a few weeks.”

The Euroweenies to the rescue. They will also have limited success.
