Estonia’s domestic security agency said on Tuesday that it had apprehended 10 people suspected of sabotage and of spreading fear and creating tension within the Baltic country in a coordinated "hybrid operation" by Russia’s special services.

Among the suspects — detained between December and February — are individuals believed to have broken the car windows of Interior Minister Lauri Läänemets and a local journalist in December, the Estonian Internal Security Service said.

"The information currently collected in criminal proceedings indicate that the Russian special service had coordinated a hybrid operation against the security of the Republic of Estonia, involving the suspects that have been detained," it said. "To the knowledge of the Estonian Internal Security Service, its aim was to spread fear and create tension in Estonian society."

Estonia’s relations to neighboring Russia have remained icy ever since its independence in 1991. As a legacy of the Soviet Union, the country of 1.3 million, which is now a member of NATO and the European Union,

Imagine you are a Russian Intelligence operative on salary and doing your duty each day.

There is a gathering of other operatives and their bosses at a party at Lubyanka Square. The vodka is flowing and the caviar on Russian bread circulating on trays.

Then comes the big moment.

“Please share with us your greatest accomplishment of the past fiscal quarter.”

The Estonia Centre guy steps forward and announces:

“I had some car windows broken!! That’s what the Russian taxpayer got from me the past 3 months!”

Who believes these stories? Who would believe the FSB would pay for this?

No, but rather, its because you have zero credibility. Everything you and your cohorts say must be considered pure propaganda and gas-lighting.

Estonia had Waffen SS units in WWII, and collaborated with the Nazis to murder their neighbors.

They also broke off all the car FM radio antennas. The proof being that no estonian government official’s car has an intact antenna on it.

yup, I called this a long time ago.... they’ll “defend” Kallingrad Oblast from the evil Baltic countries and then we’ll let the world see how NATO comes to the defense of Baltic “democracy”.

If I see it, I know thousands or hundreds of thousands historians and military strategist and war gamers see the same thing.

Odessa in the Ukraine, Moldova, start at Estonia (hardest to defend)then Latvia and Lithuania in order to defend the Russian ports in Kallingrad Oblast, ..... and then Poland is screwed by geography (as usual) and Germany better decide if those million muslims in their country will grab a weapon to defend Deutschland or if the Bundeswehr will have to fight the Russians and the Muslims.

The only ones that have a chance are the Poles because they can remember how great it was to be under the Russian boot on their neck.

Any bets on the French involvement on the defense of eastern Europe?... How about the UK?..hahahahaha lot of pedophiles and transexuals better arm up and get to defending democracy and diversity.

We get it. You care more about what's going in Estonia and Russia rather than what is going on in this country.

99.9% of Americans couldn't give a damn.

Do you, Mr. city-on-the-Volga, really care about America? How come you don't call yourself Topeka, or Cheyenne? Be honest, now.
