The illegal immigrant who is accused of killing University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley entered the US in September with his wife and 5-year-old son. They were bussed to New York City after entering the country illegally. He was arrested on child endangerment charges, released, and the record was sealed.
Jose Antonio Ibarra's wife, Layling Franco, told the New York Post that they came to the US from Venezuela with her 5-year-old son, and entered through El Paso, Texas. The couple apparently married in order to join their asylum cases.
According to police, Ibarra was arrested last August in Queens for driving with the 5-year-old child on the back of a gas-powered moped without a helmet or restraints. Ibarra was reportedly working for delivery services. After the incident, he moved to Georgia to live with his brother Diego and he and his wife separated. Riley was killed in Georgia earlier this week.

It’s racist to say “They are not sending us their best and brightest”.
His first arrest they probably used that old cliche I dislike so much:
“He’s going away for a long time.”
When I hear that on TV shows I wonder if a prison break, a breakout from the transfer van, getting out in a stolen uniform or earlier evidence now tossed out allows him to be released, smirking, to find new victims. Bad on fiction ones but worse on true crime files episodes.

STOP CONCEDING THE LYING HEADLINES, and at LEAST correct with brackets the truth when you post a headline HERE on Free Republic! He’s NOT a “MIGRANT.” He’s a criminal alien! EXAMPLE ON HOW TO CORRECT THIS HEADLINE THE NEXT TIME YOU POST A STORY LIKE THIS: “[ILLEGAL ALIEN] suspect in murder of UGA nursing student crossed border in Texas, was arrested and released in NYC.”
I was always told that the actual headline had to be used for fair use purposes. This dates back to my first account here in 2004.
They can counter with: Oh, so The View panelists are the American best and brightest, then?
Another white “scalp” for DA Bragg.
While I've not read that on any of the Free Republic home page instructions, I don't think putting an odious headline term in brackets (clearly denoting a deviation from the original) would violate the fair use act.
In thr meantime, a note to ladies...
