Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers see a major opportunity this week to use his criminal document mishandling case in Florida to create an impasse on his calendar for the two federal judges overseeing his major criminal cases.
Juggling his campaign and court calendar and playing his cases off one another is a key part of Trump’s legal strategy. The ultimate goal, his team has said openly, is to prevent Trump from being tried in federal court before voters cast their ballots in the 2024 general election.
A primary aim for Trump’s legal team, according to people familiar with the strategy, is to put the judge in DC overseeing the 2020 federal election obstruction case, Tanya Chutkan, in a position where she can’t start a trial before Election Day.

Lawfare? How dare he?
CNN: That dastardly Trump team is trying to mitigate our abuse of lawfare in the upcoming election. Its not really Deoncracy unless its illegal to oppose us, ya know.
Its unavoidable , given the unprofessional, unethical, borderline criminal activities of the judges who have allowed these silly lawsuits to go on and on…. Not even trying to hide their bias.
He’s not pitting judges against each other.
Those corrupt and immoral judges have no business violating the law.

Pitting against each other, otherwise known as the right to appeal.
SCOTUS has shown no backbone so far regarding election fraud and other related issues.Let's see what,if anything,they're willing to do about the Rat Party's lawfare jihad.
So - CNN is upset that Trump will legally leverage the boondoggle his oppressors have created through their illegal activities....
Statist pieces of crap like the author of this piece are upset that innocent subjects of illegal activities and government organized and supported lawfare (that people like this execrable author both endorse and enthusiastically collaborate with via their partisan advocacy) would deign to fight the unethical illegality with any tools at their disposal.
I am glad Trump has the means to do so. He also has the gumption and an axe to grind, so I could see him expending every single cent he has to defend himself, getting back into office, and going after the people engaging in lawfare as a political tool.
General Michael Flynn was not so lucky. As a career military officer and a man of integrity, he wasn’t breaking the law by grifting and feathering his own bed as so many others like him have done, and so, when they came after him, he had very little money or means to hire lawyers to serve in his defense.
America really needs to cull its Feral “judge” herd. If Feral “judges” were buffalo, there would be no Ozone layer.
