Translation: The left is forced to temporarily suspend their insane and asinine policies in order to, hopefully, fool enough people to vote for them (or against Trump), in case their election fraud schemes will not be good enough to defeat Trump. After the election, assuming their win, they will, per usual, go right back to those moronic anti-America and idiotic green scheme policies that are destroying the nation as we speak.
“They sincerely believe that all they need to do is mandate, ie force, everyone to do this or that and it will all be wunnerful.....................”
Remember... the good ole days... when it was just the Cass Sunstein “nudge factor”? Now it’s the out in the open push/shove and trip factor. The commies are officially out of the closet.... and they are out for our nation’s blood.
He’d send a stronger message by firing Granholm.
“Paying $20,000 for a new battery is just not practical”
Here are some rough calculations:
$20,000 cost per battery. You get 200,000 miles out of it. That’s 10 cents per mile for the battery alone not counting the electricity to charge it.
$3.50 cost of gallon of gasoline. 25 miles per gallon. That’s 14 cents per mile for the gasoline.
“$3.50 cost of gallon of gasoline. 25 miles per gallon. That’s 14 cents per mile for the gasoline.”
And when gas was $1.50 a gallon or less?
Also, I paid about $16k for my current car, battery was about $110. I can’t afford a car that requires a $20k battery. So still not practical.
Well, at least he got his candidacy right as the “existential threat” to this Republic.
What he got wrong was that HIS election is the “existential threat” to this Republic.
Government EV mandates have received a dose of reality. Car companies like Ford and GM were expecting to sell several million EV’s during the next several years. Consumers have said not so fast...
Biden threw away billions in subsidies for electric cars then upped the mess with demands to cut gas powered vehicles... Now he’s worried about Detroit Auto Workers ... yeah, right. He doesn’t give a damn about American workers. Someone should offer Hunter cash and diamonds.
BTTT
The EV heyday ended around 1920.
It’s not so bad if it comes fully charged.
“We won’t get fooled again” Many are familiar with that song by The Who. To be honest, I don’t think we we were fooled the first time when it comes to EVs. It took little time to figure out that most people wanted little to do with a vehicle that exhibited as many problems & the high prices as the EVs. Not sure what prices will do in the future, but so far the list of problems & shortcomings with them only seem to keep adding. Yet the present administration seemed to keep telling us that they are the wave of the future. They must seem to think we are all stupid. They didn’t just spell “production” wrong. They didn’t just get it wrong about the EVs. So, I guess that some folks did..”Get Fooled Again”.
Deep State isn’t backpeddling.
It’s retrenching.
...backpedaling...
