Here are some rough calculations:

$20,000 cost per battery. You get 200,000 miles out of it. That’s 10 cents per mile for the battery alone not counting the electricity to charge it.

$3.50 cost of gallon of gasoline. 25 miles per gallon. That’s 14 cents per mile for the gasoline.
