The old FDR Democrat party was about preserving the economic interest of the working class and middle class. It expanded government to do that. There is a political realignment occurring, but its ocurring very slowly. Trump should have a long memory of the RINOs who certified the 2020 Big Steal and secretly loathe MAGA. Trump should be supporting primary opponents or even third party/independent candidates for many RINOs who won't go quietly. I think that would help Trump attract a broader coalition of people if they see he is dismantling the old lines of division in the country.
