I do not know if they are or are not using white phosphorous. But, "Willie Pete" works.
I do know that Israel has suffered more than normal casulties due to extreme caution in not harming civilians. War is ugly. When one is attacked the attacker loses all rights to "nice warfare." Israel is still being nice. They are in error.
