It also damages kidneys. I am under strict orders from my doc to never take Ibuprofen or Naprosyn due to kidney damage.
It is either damage the kidneys, stomach, or liver when it comes to pain medication.
Heh?
This article's NO GOOD!
“Heh?”
Heh-heh.
For severe arthritis, I take the 800 mg Ibuprofen with Famotidine. That with three Tylenol helps me a lot.

Think about it - did Cavemen care what they took with Ibuprofen? And yet they survived.

It’s probably best to rotate through the drugs if you need pain relief, assuming that you don’t have issues with the above organs.
Sorry, but the source is “https://www.health.harvard.edu“. Harvard is one of the most useless groups of old worn-out buildings in the country. It’s full of nothing but useless DIE, ESG, and Green incompetents. Any words coming from a building group such as this are likely lies and must always be ignored.
That’s something that is emphasized — maybe even over-emphasized — if you’re on blood thinners. I’ll be on Eliquis “life-long”, and they never stop stressing NO aspirin, NO Ibuprofen, NO NSAIDs of any kind, ever.
The damage ibuprofen does is dependent upon how many you take. 3200mg a day is the max I believe and that’s one hell of a lot.
Interesting tidbit. That 5000 year old guy they found in the had tattoos marking certain acupuncture points that could be used to kill pain
Hmmmm, never underestimate what was known back then.
My husband is on Eloquis and his cardiologist never told us that. It sounds like he should have told us never to take ibuprofen.

First of all, I’m not 100% in love with your tone right now.

That’s why you drink a little alcohol to lower the pain level.
What? No headache meds with the hair of the dog?
As far as political and social issues, I totally agree with you. From personal experience I can tell you that there is truth to the warning they gave out.
I take Clopidogrel and a baby aspirin every day, because of a stent they put in me 3 years ago. I also have inflammatory bowel disease so I can’t take ibuprofen or regular aspirin, only acetaminophen (Tylenol). And I rarely ever take that. The baby aspirin is a low enough dose where it doesn’t promote bleeding.
What they say here makes perfect sense.
You are 100% right on everything else!
