A top House Republican lawmaker is preparing to circumvent Speaker Mike Johnson, R– La., to force a vote on a bill related to Ukraine aid and U.S. border security.

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., co-chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, said that he was preparing the legislative maneuver as a fail-safe in the event Johnson does not bring a Ukraine aid bill to the floor.

"It’s existential, it’s time-sensitive. Whether it’s our [bill] or somebody else’s, we’ve just got to get the money out the door," Fitzpatrick told reporters on Thursday morning.

Well, looks like the RINO's are going to push through the aid to Ukraine, border security be damned. Pennsylvania sure seems to be churning out a lot of treasonous snakes these days.

“ Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., co-chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus” also known as the Quisling Supplicants Caucus.

I wish him the best of luck.
This could be a way of passing the aid bill without forcing Johnson to go out on a limb.

Then he ain't no "top Republican". Perhaps a "top-RINO".

Fitzpatrick is liberal scum, but at least he has a good reason — he represents a district of liberal scum.

But sometimes “the best we can do” in a district isn’t worth it. The difference between Fitzpatrick and a Democrat is truly negligible, but in this case he gets to commit sabotage from *within* the GOP.

BTW, the filing deadline in PA has passed and this traitor has no viable primary opponent and the same Democrat loser who ran in 2022 is running again. So “prymarry hiz azz!!!” isn’t going to work.

Clearly the Rats see no reason to go after this guy very hard since he’s basically one of them already.

Zelensky can probably type. So, why not hold the money until he puts IN WRITING a “category” summary of how all the American tax money already sent was spent and SWEAR to it!

He should particularly swear to how much money was spent on yachts and houses/condos. He has lost millions of Americans trust because of these items. If he or the government didn’t spend any, or it was spent by a front company or lawyer that was a recipient of American funds, he should swear to that.

He could do that this afternoon and email it to Trump and Johnson.

I agree, getting the border under control is both existential and time-sensitive. Oh, he means Ukraine aid? How is Ukraine an ‘existential’ issue for an American Congressman?

Why don’t we give Ukraine $30 billion - in loans - to purchase U.S. armaments, and convert all prior “aid” into loans as well (around $92 billion)? Seems fair. We can use their natural gas, coal and wheat as collateral, as well as the huge nuclear plant’s revenues.
