Certainly not refighting Eastern Front WWII battles with us taking the German WWII side, and allied with the modern followers of Hitler. That is a starting place.
A better answer is looking at our founders. Not a single one supported this, nor the permanent “alliances” that have created this disaster. They did not go abroad seeking dragons to slay. Jefferson went after the Barbary pirates when they would not stop attacking us.
I would turn the question back to you. Can you point to any current conflict zone in the world that DC says is NOT worth our blood and treasure.

If a NATO member is invaded, then it is worth our blood.
