not seeing it here in Florida. up to 13”? yikes! my house will be waterfront property. thankfully the folks who are doing the math here do not understand Fluid Dynamics any more than the basic math required to determine the number of possible outcomes for an X chromosome and a Y chromosome. hint for the math challenged...only two outcomes. if you derive more than two, remedial math is a good option.

Agreed. Historically, as the climate warmed for centuries we had higher crop yields, more predictable rain patterns, and less deaths by plague. During the cooling periods it was the opposite and often led to depopulation of cities and wars from people taking over each other's land, and slaves to work the land.

I'm not saying it was the only cause of atrocities, or that all atrocities happened in cooling periods. I'm just saying the frequency of them and the number of kingdoms/nations participating in them is always higher in cooling periods. We used to be glad we lived in the Modern Warm Period. In fact, the leftist scare mongering of the "coming ice age" decades ago was about how nice life is in the Modern Warm Period, just that it was supposedly about to end. Now they've changed their tune and wanting us to believe the Modern Warm period is both bad and unprecedented.
