Yes, sizes are reduced to keep from raising prices It is a shell game. Ice cream used to come in half-gallons, so instead of raising the price they make the containers smaller, changed the shape, and kept the price the same. 1/2 gal became 1.75 quarts. Most people don’s pay that close attention to what they are buying.

They make $1 a box, I asked a Troop Leader a couple weeks back who was in front of my local grocery store. I don’t need the calories so I give them a Dollar and go about my way. A neighbor who was a Troop Leader about 12 years back mentioned then they made 50 cents a box. I live in a relatively Conservative part of what is left of Kalifornia and I don’t think these local Troops are pushing the leftist / abortion ideology that has been reported in the last few years in the Girls Scouts.
