3:07 Voters in San Francisco passed ballot measures on Super Tuesday that expanded police powers, required drug screening for welfare recipients, and reduced restrictions on commercial real estate development — a massive defeat for the left.
The San Francisco Chronicle declared boldly in its front-page headline Wednesday morning: “PROGRESSIVISM IS OUT — FOR NOW,” and “Voters make it clear: San Francisco can no longer be called a progressive city.”

Yes. 130 years ago, “progressive” meant passing child labor laws, 40 hour workweeks, ending chronic alcoholism, controlling huge monopoly corporations, and eliminating sweatshop conditions where you were virtually a slave.
Today “progressive” means teaching children homosexual sex, urging kids to “transition” and not tell parents, unimpeded flow of drugs, tens of thousands of whacked-out crazies on the streets, letting somebody be arrested 50 times and not spend a minute in jail, and not charging criminals with crimes.
As you say, this “progressive” agenda is all about destroying the country.
It really needs to be rebranded as “regressive” to, say, 3,000 years ago. Nah, it’s probably far worse than what existed 3,000 years ago. Has ANY society in the world EVER permitted and outright encouraged such lawlessness, depravity and licentiousness?
