Biden (or whoever will replace him) can count on tens of thousands of harvested ballots which will add to the Democrat presidential count after the polls close on Election Day. Until and unless the Republican candidate can offset at least some of those harvested ballots, the Democrat will win.
This is the lesson Republicans should have learned in 2020. I don't believe they have. Ronna McDaniel and the RNC never had a clue and never wanted one. I also don't see any evidence that Trump is putting together his own ballot harvesting mechanisms in states which have legalized ballot harvesting.
The popular polls now are nice, but I am really starting to worry that we are going to see a replay of 2020 this November. Trump will win the in-person voting and we will see the polls close with Trump in the electoral vote lead. We will wake up to the news that Biden has taken the lead, due to harvested ballot dumps which came in during the night. We will again spend the day or two after Election Day screaming about rigged ballot machines when the real problem has nothing to do with ballot machines - it's all about the ballots collected before Election Day.
I agree with you in large part. But I don’t think that any single mechanism can be said to be responsible for 2020. The Democrats needed them all:
Ballot Harvesting, Mail Ballot Rules Dropped, 10$ Mules, Dominion and old-fashioned Machine Humpety-Hump in Atlanta. I would add George Floyd riots, as well, for turnout. No single mechanism, by itself, is enough.
You can bank on 2024 being NOT the same. All mechanisms are still in play, but the battleground states will be different.
I believe that the Democrats are looking for “cover” for increased use of Dominion machine fraud. The Democrats weren’t playing footsie in Ukraine all those years, under Obama and Hillary. We will see actual suppression of Republican voting at the polls. Dominion fraud will secure more states and larger vote numbers.
Ballot Harvesting (if I know what it means) only works for the Left. Republicans should stick to Get Out the Vote.
Republicans should just stuff fake ballots in the boxes like Dems. No names, no addresses, no signature, etc.
Worked for them in 2020.
