The Embassy is monitoring reports that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, to include concerts, and U.S. citizens should be advised to avoid large gatherings over the next 48 hours.

WTH?!? Apparently the Ukes (in conjunction with the CIA) have ordered large terrorist attacks against Russian civilians in Moscow. The Brits have issued the same warnings. Does DC really think they can telegraph this without the Russians realizing just who is responsible? I’d consider this a huge escalation on the CIA’s part. There will be massive retaliation if large numbers of Russian civilians are killed.

Exactly. IF they broadcast it you know the US and Britain are heavily involved in whatever action occurs. Our government of corruption continues playing the game.

Our corrupt government is determined to provoke Russia right into WWIII. Is this the Democrats election strategy to rally around Biden and gin up support for Ukraine?

Neocon Policy: If you can’t beat their military on the battlefield, you might as well TERRORIZE their civilians.

And Putin would have no idae of what is about to happen because the Russians are always too stupid to infiltarate dissident groups and find the British and American spies who are plotting against them.

“The Embassy is monitoring reports that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow”

If something happens now, I have a feeling a bunch of American and British Embassy personnel will get a taste of Russian-style ‘discussions’, as in interrogations.

What the Neocons will learn the hard way is that they CANNOT have it both ways - keeping Americans safe in Russia, while still blowing up civilians there.

One notes that the OFFICIAL US statement calls those who would do this "extremists."

Sounds quite as if we are entering into a post-Nuland age....

“Did a bunch of Venezuelan gangbangers get lost and illegally enter Russkyland?“

Much, much worse, it’s the Langley, Va. CIA gangbangers.

It’s all a misunderstanding - they may be funny-looking strangers but they’re only there for the cheap medicine.

Could it be angry rural whites from Ukraine being a threat?

FRiend, if the coming CIA offensive is so reprehensible that Nuland quit rather than signing off on it, we are indeed in deep crap now.

A presidential election in Russia will be held on 15–17 March 2024. This will be the eighth presidential election in the country. If no candidate receives more than half the vote, a second round will take place exactly three weeks later, on 7 April 2024. The winner is scheduled to be inaugurated on 7 May 2024. I

But if the Ukes targeted Moscow with missiles, killing civilians would be OK.

According to the Russian rules.

Putin has legitimate approval ratings in the 80-90 percent range.

According to the Russian rules.

I'd give this one about an 8 on The Ukraine-Russia War Dumb Scale.

Number one, of course, is "Russia could just go home".

--- "FRiend, if the coming CIA offensive is so reprehensible that Nuland quit rather than signing off on it, we are indeed in deep crap now."

That is an interesting take. A different take would be that things are getting out of manageable hands, and the "plausible deniability" of time passing will be relied upon to make some kind of....

As to being in "deep crap now," the rapidly rising national debt coupled to many states' and municipalities' rapidly rising debts is deep AND rising crap.

Herb Stein said that which cannot continue will stop.

Biden, Scholz, Macron, Sunak, Meloni, etc. are looking for some face-saving way to exit the Ukraine War. But they keep doubling down on stupid by escalating the rhetoric including the possibility of sending NATO troops to Ukraine. Over the past few weeks the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, and others have signed ten year bilateral security agreements with Ukraine.

My biggest concern is a "false flag" operation to provide the direct involvement of NATO in the war. Gulf of Tonkin redux. Or France or some other NATO country could just send their troops in outside of NATO.
