Every man there was able to control and suppress their impulse to fight and end the killing of the children.
And these were not even random males, they were all males that sought out and signed up for the warrior role in life.
This is so disturbing.
Those jokers stood around in the hallway, one using a hand sanitizer dispenser, for how long?
“Officers responding to an active shooter incident must continually seek to eliminate the threat and enable victim response,” one recommendation read. “An active shooter with access to victims should never be considered and treated as a barricaded subject.”
What was the head of the dept like? his actions had a lot to do with it also.
Yep. Cops are the clean up crew.
Well, doing nothing seems to be again the good way to do stuff.
As long as it cannot be proven you did something wrong, you are OK.
That’s a great standard for all government workers.
Doing nothing is the safest way to keep a job!
Every LE who was there that day; Local PD, Sheriff, DPS, Game Wardens and BP should have been harassed and shamed daily by every Texan that encountered them for the past two years and forever more.
“They did nothing and that was wrong.”
To be fair, they did handcuff a mother who tried to go in and save the kids, so there’s that.
And these were not even random males, they were all males that sought out and signed up for the warrior role in life.
This is so disturbing.
What was the command structure? ALL are centralized now. You get penalized for using wrong pronouns.
> Former Austin Police Department detective Jesse Prado examined the actions of each Uvalde police officer… <
So the police investigated the police, and found that the police did nothing wrong.
Got it.
This is what happens when parents abdicate the responsibility for their children’s safety to government bureaucrats. You get the government you deserve and by extension the police you deserve.
“We have investigated ourselves, and found we did nothing wrong”
There are still a few good people left. Just none on the Uvalde Police Department.
Recall that off-duty Border Patrol officers swept right past the cowering Uvalde police, entered the school, and killed the shooter.
Prado did exactly what he was paid to do...exonerate the city government and its employees.
Re: 26 - no, the BORTAC team from Border Patrol took command of the situation when they arrived. They were the main force that assaulted in.
> Prado did exactly what he was paid to do... <
Good comment. Detective Prado cleared the people who were paying him. So now he will be on the short list the next time a city needs to whitewash something.
Not surprised!
They were following policy written by government lawyers. Such a policy is all about risk avoidance and the elimination of personal initiative. You see personal initiative increases risk and liability on the city.
And these were not even random males, they were all males that sought out and signed up for the warrior role in life.
This is so disturbing.

The one thing that you can take some solace in - These fraudulent LEO’s need to live with this the rest of their natural lives. Inside the deep unknowns of the human brain, their is a little voice, that will ALWAYS be there reminding officer badass that in the one moment in his life that mattered, he failed. He knows he is a coward and that scores of innocent children are forever departed from this life due to him being a major league pussy. Nothing will EVER, EVER change that.
This says it well.

Just a guess but I’ll bet the local donut shop did big business that day.
