Biden said the planned release of 60 million barrels of global oil reserves... “will help blunt gas prices here at home.” But energy experts said the emergency measures aren’t enough to have an impact.
He said the economy added 369,000 manufacturing jobs last year, which is about right. But the manufacturing sector hasn’t recovered all the jobs lost during the pandemic, and manufacturing job growth (3.1%) is slower than overall job growth (4.6%).
The president said “our economy created over 6.5 million new jobs just last year, more jobs in one year than ever before.” That’s true based on raw numbers, but not on a percentage basis. The claim also doesn’t acknowledge the unique economic conditions created by the COVID-19 pandemic...
Biden prematurely claimed he’d be the first president to cut the annual deficit by $1 trillion in a single year. Even if it happens at the end of this fiscal year, the deficit would still be among the highest in history...
Biden misleadingly said the tax cuts enacted in 2017 “benefited the top 1% of Americans.” Americans in every income category got tax cuts. It isn’t until 2027 when ..the top 1% sees the lion’s share of the tax benefits.
..the average weekly earnings of all private-sector workers, in “real” (inflation-adjusted) terms, rose 8.7% in Trump’s four years.
The president wrongly called gun manufacturing “the only industry in America that can’t be sued.” Though gun manufacturers are protected from some civil lawsuits, there are exceptions. There are also other industries that are shielded from certain legal actions....
.total nonfarm employment in January was still about 2.9 million jobs below the pre-recession peak in February 2020...
the 2005 law outlines six exceptions through which civil lawsuits can be brought against firearm manufacturers. These exceptions include cases in which there was negligence on behalf of the firearm seller, a firearm was transferred with the knowledge that it would be used to commit a crime, and manufacturers and sellers violated state or federal law when marketing or selling a firearm.
We can’t say what the impact of the Trump-championed tax cuts may have been on wages, but as we wrote in October for our story “Trump’s Final Numbers,” the average weekly earnings of all private-sector workers, in “real” (inflation-adjusted) terms, rose 8.7% in Trump’s four years. Wages for rank-and-file production and nonsupervisory workers — who make up 81% of all private-sector workers — went up 9.8% under Trump.
Another fact checker: State of the Union fact check: What President Joe Biden got wrong (and right): https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2024/03/08/joe-biden-state-of-the-union-fact-check/72843176007/
“stretched the facts”
Don’t you mean ‘lied’?
I wonder why president retard lied about the State of Failure?
Did anyone bother to see just how long that release from the oil reserve would last? Less than a day IIRC.
70% of jobs he’s claiming wete pre-existing that are just now returning due to covid.
...and this is from factcheck.org??? Yes, Biden flat out lied.
Cameras never panned over the small crowd that attended Biden’s post-SOTU Georgia campaign rally.
Fani Willis never even showed.......snx.
Build back better is really build back higher. Higher inflation, higher prices, higher crime, higher deficits and higher illegal entrants. Among other unwanted highs.
When Fact-checking Cho Bi Den it might be simpler to just list the actual true facts... Probably a shorter list.
As in keywords?
I would say as a general rule of thumb, Democrats never paid much attention to facts. The entire era of Russia Hoax, was never processed, and brought back to ADMIT, (Adam Schiff if you are one of these jerks are reading this)... These people lied and never apologized. Come on New York Times, for ONCE come out and admit you KNEW the facts and ignored them.
Biden gives his SOTU campaign stump speech.
Lucky for him his old man wasn’t Ward Cleaver.
Kind of like enriched flour: it is "enriched" by first milling and chemical bleaching whole grains which removes or destroys many important nutrients and fiber, (white flour with a milling extraction rate 68% mean up to 32% of the original grain is not in the flour) which components are mainly located in bran and germ, (the bran is the outermost layer of grains that contains fiber, some protein, and trace minerals, and the germ is the embryo of the seed that contains B vitamins and trace minerals) and then adding 4 or 5 or back.
Thus, by being impoverished (Covid-29, etc.) and getting some back, you are deemed to be "enriched."
While accuracy is actually rather hard to come by, one site provides this graphic.

Yet we are God-blessed to overall live in an era of unprecedented high standard living. But which is a test the West is failing.
.
The FREAKIN' BA$TARD simply LIED outright!
Thank you. Was going to say the same. Stretched is a lie in itself.
