This SurveyUSA poll is very kind to Biden, as SurveyUSA polls elsewhere are. It gives Trump only a 5 point lead in NC, when other recent polls in the state give Trump leads of 9 to 15 points.

Another finding of the poll is that the Governor race is close, with the Democrat leading by 2 points. The pattern of Trump leading Republican candidates for Governor or Senator is repeated here. We need to GOTV not only to pull Trump across, but also our Senate and Governor candidates.

In the photo of Biden’s GA “rally” I could identify only 1 person who appeared to be younger. He does not have the “younger” vote.

This is why Rat Party Headquarters will move heaven and earth (not that they *believe* in Heaven) to get a verdict in the DC case by October.

A 9 to 15 point lead is only worth 5 points after cheating

Trump will take NC. The bigger questions are in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

If they somehow get PDJT off the ballot you can say hello President Abbott. The sympathy vote would be huge. This is also. Why neither RFK Jr or Gabbard will be VP. The lawsuits and charges won’t stop even if he wins the election.

In 2016 and 2020, Trump outperformed the polls. In 2016, he outperformed the polls enough to win. In 2020, he outperformed the polls even more, but was so far down in the polls, he still didn’t win. This year, he’s ahead in the polls nationally and in all the battleground states. But, some people have grown accustomed to losing, and come up in advance with reasons why Trump will lose again.

The 5 point lead is realistic. Trump won NC in 2016 by about 3.7% and in 2020 by about 1.4%. NC is a real tossup state, the tightness of the Governor’s race shows that NC voters will not automatically elect Republicans.

I too like Abbott for VP. Think Tulsi Gabbard for a cabinet position.

If Nikki Haley satys on the reservation, she could be nominated for Amb. to India.

Trump will have lots of opportunities to reward friends and punish enemies.

Biden should be struggling with all voters.

“..The lawsuits and charges won’t stop even if he wins the election....”

There was an article a while back saying that the Obama/Biden people are arming the various agencies and departments with their people ingrained so as to influence everything Trump tries to do. Obama had done that initially on his way out, but this time a better job is being done so that Trump’s policies would never get off the ground.

They probably have placed them in the government union which is the largest and most powerful union in the country for protection from Trump’s attempt to fire them.

How many more black candidates do Rs have to put up before they realize we get our asses handed to us? Herschel Walker, Kari Lake, John James (Senate), Daniel Cameron, Michael Steele and others. Now we are putting this guy up in N.C. in a very important Governor’s race. Tim Scott was appointed to his seat and ran as an incumbent. I’m not suggesting that we never run black candidates, but we need to be very choosy. I would vote for a black R any day of the week, but the reality is that there are many poor and working-class whites who will go back to the Dems if their choice is a black person (Democrats do this also, only in the opposite direction). And blacks will rarely vote Republican, so they are not picking up significant black votes (and to the extent they do draw some black vote, these voters vote straight Dem in the other races hurting our other candidates).

Has Arizona been Californicated?

Of course the left coast, New Mexico and Colorado will vote Democrat but I expected Nevada and Arizona would swing back to red after this disaster of an administration.

Mark Robinson is going to be the next governor, and he will create a gravitational pull on the ballot.

Unless the Dems can do something something.

In your exasperation, you point out that we Republicans have often nominated conservative blacks. You would think with so many instances, statistical analysis would be able to show discrimination. Yet, there is no evidence of discrimination (that is, of whites voting for Democrats rather than for a black Republican). We’re not prejudiced. I would say we’re 100 percent for all Americans that uphold our values. The damn problem is we’re up against tough opponents.

“Controlling for various factors, we consistently find that white conservatives are either more supportive of minority Republicans or just as likely to vote for a minority as they are a white Republican (a null result). Although we hesitate to dismiss the presence of racial prejudice in voting behavior, in the case of white conservatives our analyses suggest that the base of the GOP does not discriminate against minority nominees in high-profile contemporary general elections.”

There is a reason why Caitlyn Clark fills up arenas while Angel Nelson draws crickets. Birds of a feather flock together. Race, ethnicity, etc. Democrats put black candidates on the ballot to juice up their base. Black candidates do not juice up our base. For every black voter a black Republican draws, he or she loses 2 downscale white voters. These are voters who live in the mountains, in the country, work at the Jiffy Lube, etc.
