Don’t know if I’m talking with one of the few remaining lost causers or a Democrat lurker thinking there are lots of Republican racists.

I referred you to statistical evidence that there’s no identifiable racists in the Republican Party. There may be a few, but it you were fair, you’d find more in the Democratis Party than in our party.

Show me a black person who’s comfortable around white people, and I’ll show you somebody who just might be a Republican.

We Republicans who have served in the military or in the police are damn proud of our comrades whatever their ethnic background.

As for Caitlin, this is America. We love our pro-American athletes such as Flo Jo in one generation or this competitor today. We are totally o.k. with people with their range of personalities, from prissy girls to tomboys. What we object to is using public schools for indoctrination and recruitment.

Things are way different nowadays from the way things were and the way Democrats imagine. WWII was a turning point. We needed to call on all of our people in that one. And, it was inevitable that we would “redeem the promise” after the war.

For every black voter a black Republican draws, he or she loses 2 downscale white voters. These are voters who live in the mountains, in the country, work at the Jiffy Lube, etc.

Maybe if Robinson was running against Jeff Jackson. But fortunately for him, that's not the case. I think Jeff Jackson will run against Robinson in '28, assuming both will win their races in November.

Respectfully, you are confusing Republicans with potential Republican voters. I am a lifelong conservative Republican. I have been involved in running numerous congressional campaigns. Race and gender of candidates make a difference in voter turnout. Republicans rely on white turnout. Black Republican candidates do not juice up white turnout. And blacks do not cross party lines to vote for black Republicans. In states like GA, KY, MI, etc. the racial dynamic makes a noticeable difference.

You should have more than anecdotal evidence. The statistics ague the other white Republicans have no problem voting for black conservatives.

Here, let me give you an example. Bobby Jindal, 2003, many people think Jindal lost the runoff because of his ethnicity. They point to his poor performance in rural, conservative parts of the state. But, the run-off election was held on the opening of hunting season. Could hunting season have been the reason turnout was low in conservative, rural parts of Louisiana?

Regarding your point that black voters don’t flock to black Republicans ... here you’re thinking that blacks vote their skin color, just as you think whites vote their skin color. We win votes one at a time, as people regardless of skin color, vote their values.

I’ll give you another example. In 2016 the polls showed many of the undecided but likely voters in midwest states had demographics that said Democrat (like skin color), but values that said Republican. This is why Kellyanne Conway thought we had to keep going back to those states, and why Trump should be shown with black people and working class, union-type white people. She thought, in the privacy of the voting booth, we could win those votes.

Here’s a point that kind of straddles what you and I are saying: We should oppose mail ballots. We should insist on in person voting in person, in the privacy of the voting booth. Because there’s a lot of social pressure on people in certain groups to vote Democrat (not to mention ballots being filled out by paid Democratic campaign workers).

Me too. I’ve been in the trenches since 1969 (since before I was able to vote even). In my own experience, getting black votes has been like root canal work. In comparison, getting Hispanic votes (other than Puerto Ricans) has been easy. But, I’m thinking, all the years of hard work is starting to pay off. We’re in position to win the Hispanic vote, and we’re getting something like 20 percent of the black vote.

All Trump has to do is fire them with severance. The cause is the government is being down sized and thie jobs are no longer there.

We he do that? I don’t know, but he should take a clue from the president of Argentina.
