California rules don’t apply in Iowa for pork exported to China.

The California rules for pork production DO apply to Iowa, when any portion of the output might be sent to California.

The Supreme Court did not rule against California last year, and this has been discussed to no end on the various ag boards that I follow. Here is the decision:

Yes, if one can prove that this pork is only produced for China then one would be golden. It doesn't work that way is modern agriculture.
