There was a time this state had decent in-state polling organizations. Nowadays, outsiders are brought in. In this case, the East Carolina Pirates (which will only get to the Big Dance if they win their conference tournament). In the Presidential race, it's all Trump. Ohio, like Florida, has cleaned up voting and - guess what - the Democrats are no longer competitive. The interest in this state is Senator. This is one of our better Senate pick-up opportunities. The poll shows each of the three contenders for our party's nomination doing well, and shows the Democrat incumbent at 43 or 45 in match-ups. Mid 40s is danger territory for an incumbent. With Biden in trouble in all of the battleground states, and with six or seven Democrat Senate seats in play (conceding West Virginia to us), with the possibility that Menendez runs as an independent so he can still sell his votes in the Senate for campaign contributions that he will use to cover his legal bills, and with Steve Garvey in the run-off in California, the Democrats will be dissipating their enormous advantage in campaign cash. Could be a big year for the pro-America party.

So, no need to have Vivek become Trumps’ VP pick. I would have Vivek become Trumps’ Press Secretary.

Good observation. Ohio and Florida, which had long been two key "battleground" states in Presidential elections, have, almost overnight it seems, become solidly Red.

Meanwhile, +8 Trump in Ohio pretty much mirrors 2020 (Trump, 53%-45%) and 2016 (Trump, 51%-43%).

Somewhat notably, Trump's margin in Ohio in 2020 was bigger than was his margin in Texas in 2020 (i.e., 52%-46.43%).

Based on the corruption that just happened in GA , I fully expect the Dems to go full-bore corrupt in Nov. and steal another election. Maybe the new management at the RNC can prevent this.

Texas has some large areas that are strongly D. Houston is by some measures the 3rd largest city in America, and is less than 50% white these days. Vote/ballot harvesting from there and Dallas as well as the capitol Austin, are big concerns. The crooked prosecutors there won’t investigate vote fraud in most cases, and the Texas constitution prevents the state AG from even getting involved, last I heard.

Give the Democrats' War on Coal some credit, too. Ohio District 6 was solid blue when I retired here in 2009. It was a struggle just to get registered to vote as a Republican. Then the mines started to close. In my county the impending loss of coal-fired electricity caused a big aluminum smelter to close. 1000 jobs gone, in what was already the poorest county in the state. District 6 elected a Republican Congressman, (Bill Johnson), and has never looked back. There's more, but I'll leave it at that. Needless to say it's been Trump country since 2016.

My understanding is that Ohio is a one-man, one-vote state.
