Have noticed and enjoy but knowing how it is used against him/us with low info voters, does it help overall? If not, why?

Trump tried to keep Tik Tok out of the US, too, and for good reason. It’s being used by the Chinese to spy. If it changed ownership to a non-PRC company, it would not be shut down and would not be “controled”. MAGA content can be displayed in a different forum just as well as Tik Tok. I made the mistake of buying a Chinese-made phone, and I’m not at all happy about it, but the first thing I did when I brought it home was delete Tik Tok.

So your solution is to ban TikTok? If I’m the owner of TikTok, why would I sell the company?

That was Trump’s solution while he was POTUS. He did ban it as a national security risk. If you’re the owner of Tik Tok, and you won’t sell it, and they must disclose all their intelligence-relevant info to the PRC, it would and should be banned.

Is Trump speaking in tongues and Musk providing the interpretation? Did he mean people would take to the streets if China builds cars in Mexico? Autoworkers would no longer exist? The economy would crash?

A good comment, but at what point will the Democrapts use/misuse ANY word Trump says against him? To fear that would effectively silence him.

You need to educate yourself on that topic
Friendly suggestion

Start with actual ownership

Everything Trump says can be taken out of context if the media wants to.

There will be a daily onslaught of this type of media BS until Election Day, so either tie yourself in knots or ignore it.

I’m choosing the latter.

I’m listening. But I’m not convinced. If we are concerned that it’s a national security risk and we have the elections coming up, I could see that we could justify a ban of TikTok for 72 hours before Election Day.

Actual ownership of the algorithm and where the data is stored is all that counts. In this case, the ownership is the CCP/PLA and the data goes to servers in China (as they have admitted).

That comment doesn’t merit a response.

You’re ignoring the facts PIF which have been pointed out to you in favor of grandstanding

Your own leftist govt is trying much harder to influence our domestic content than China is able to do to TikTok beyond their own restricted domestic version of it

The only thing Chinese about TikTok is that a Chinese kid founded it years ago and owns 20%

Just admit you overreached and move on

If I can do it and I do when wrong here

Then you can too

We need to see the evidence before we are going to ban something. We're not the Democrats.

I litterally blocked every single news outlet from my news feed that reported that incorrectly. They ALL knew the truth, and anyone who reported that they way some did, did so specifically to try to score points against Trump.

I have no tolerance for that.

And it is a shame politicians are not allowed to sue for libel the same way everyone else can because Trump was certainly libeled here.

What Musk Twitter and Tik Tok to a degree demonstrate is how important censorship is to the regime.

Simply allowing people to speak freely among themselves causes narrative colllapse, and the regime is maintained in power by narrative alone.

No matter what Trump says they will lie about him. To blame Trump for what the enemy is doing makes you worse than the other side.

I'm surprised to see that FReepers are buying into the lies by our regime.

People are speaking out against the regime on TikTok because we are allowed to speak freely over there.

Everything is censored on a platform controlled by Meta (Facebook, Instagram, etc)

Musk in the past 3 years has done more to fight the DemoMarxist party than the entire RINOpublican party put together
