“Them” means the Israeli farming communities that were attacked and massacred. It’s their agriculture, not the Palestinians of Gaza?
My error. I read the first couple of lines thinking the Gazans destroyed their own food sources (which they’ve done before). However, I think the Israelis will find a temporary solution, as they always seem to do, to cover their losses and then prevent this from happening again. As for the people of Gaza, well, their experiencing a whole lot of of karma for what they started and will have to find another way of solving their problems, assuming they survive in the long term.
