This had been used as the excuse for today’s black father absent families with males quickly leaving after a woman was pregnant.

Today’s “black father absent families” is 90% a result of LBJ and his Congress’s War on Poverty which made it economically inappropriate for men to get married or to cohabit with a woman. It divorced men from he raising of children altogether.The origin of marriage was for women to gain support from men for themselves and their children. It connected males with their offspring which kept the men in the house or hut or tent. It also made the gathering of food more efficient as the stronger and unpregnancy hampered men o concentrate on providing protein while the women collected herbs and berries to make a more balanced diet for both.
