If I were the CEO of Hertz, I would start off with a small fleet of EVs, maybe 5 or 10 at selected branches and SEE HOW THEY WERE RECEIVED.

If that went OK, I would get some more, maybe 50 at some more branches.

Then ...

I would NOT have gone hog wild and bought a sh!tload of the damn things right off the bat.

But what do I know, I didn’t go to Harvard, Yale or one of those big Ivy League schools where every graduate has all the right answers?

I appreciate the sarcasm, but you aren't keeping up with the times. Universities like those are no longer graduating students based on merit, they're graduating based on melanin. The Harvard president couldn't even produce a high school term paper properly, much less a PhD thesis. Their graduates are worth less than their carbon equivalent in coal.

My guess was that this CEO was a Lefty and wanted to gain the accolades of his fellow Lefties by leading the first company to go all "green" with a fleet of EVs.

Basically he put his ego and quest for fame ahead of the financial interests of the company he was hired to run. That was my take, anyhow.

Well I checked out his bio and my guess appears to be right on target. He is also a member of the CFR, a globalist society with a very Lefty bent.
