Why do we put up with this crap?
I suspect you already know the answer, but if not, I don't think you'll like the reasons.
Why put up with naked tyranny? We wait for the election. If Trump wins all will be pardoned and the people who put them in jail, fired and gone—if not jailed. But, if Trump is “Taken Out” one way or another. It will be Bonny Blue Flag time and civil war—so at least part of the Nation will be free. That or bring out the fife and drums for Revolution and change. I hope wiser heads prevail and this crisis will pass with compromise and national justice.
It’s not bad enough yet.
And many good men have too much to lose to pick up arms
