Former U.S. Ambassador: Joe Biden’s Immigration Policy Crippled Haiti

President Joe Biden’s rushed policies to address a burgeoning migration crisis three years ago helped collapse the Haitian state in 2024 amid his reelection campaign, Dan Foote, who served as Biden’s special envoy for Haiti in 2021, told Breitbart News.

“He wanted to get past the [2022] midterms …. [but] it unraveled now in the run-up to the [2024] elections at the worst time,” Foote told Breitbart News on March 18.

In 2021, more than 15,000 Haitian migrants approached the Del Rio river crossing in Texas, creating a TV-magnified political crisis for Biden. At the time, American officials were helping Haiti elect a new government to replace Prime Minister Ariel Henry, who took on the role days before the assassination of the nation’s last president, Jovenel Moïse, that year. Henry did not want to quit, so he told Biden, “I’ll keep taking the deportees but you guys must let me stay in power,” Foote recalled.

A low IQ black population that murdered all the whites crippled Haiti.

Found this little fact the other day-

“When I win the election I want people that want to come here to immediately surge the border” Joe Biden

Haiti is a cultural failure. No guiding concepts that would provide the structure needed for stability. No functioning court system. No tradition of property or contract. No way for people to gain a title to the housing they have. Hence no way to mortgage and raise capital. No matter how much aid is invested, Haiti is just a car without an engine. You can give it a paint job and buff it up but it’s still going nowhere fast.

If we lived in an even remotely rational world, the UN would assign a national guardian, probably France would be a good choice, since they used to have it as a colony. Take over governance, provide the muscle to subdue the gang mentality by whatever means necessary. Run the place for about fifty years until the people figured out how to run it themselves.

Sounds strangely like another country I’m familiar with…

Haiti is indeed a screwed up place.

One wonders though - how much of meddling by corrupt American politicians, like the Clintons or Bill Gates, contributed to its instability?

the two seem to go hand-in-hand.

Much like Ukraine - corruption, a divided populace, a nation with no sense of itself, poverty - all seem to invite malevolent interference.

And... part of this guy's solution evidently was to let the Haitians into the US back then. From the link: “I will not be associated with the United States inhumane, counterproductive decision to deport thousands of Haitian refugees and illegal immigrants to Haiti,” Foote wrote in a subsequent resignation letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
