What they are really doing is closing 1,000 stations (that would be on average 20 per state) that are in crime infested, dangerous locations.

A perfect guise to do this without upsetting but appeasing the deep state.

Oil executives know more than anyone that EV’s are a scam.

Brilliant move on their part.

Right. On top of that, they’re probably not even closing the stations, but will most likely sell them off.

As for EV stations... the only thing I can figure is that they may try and corner the market near high-volume night-life locations: restaurants, theaters, sporting venues, malls, and the like. As was mentioned elsewhere, they’d need to be located in areas where people might spend a couple of hours eating, shopping, etc.

Gas stations/convenience stores in the hood are usually cash cows. The markups on beer, cigs and junk food are pretty hefty. But, of course, if you work there, you're behind bullet-proof glass all day.
