Most recent update says someone drove away in a Renault car after the incendiary devices went off.
I suffered through the 1964 Renault Dauphine by which I learned nearly all the things that can fail on a new car.
True story: there was a hole in the front bumper. You could insert the lug nut wrench (tire iron) and crank the engine if it had trouble, like a Ford from the 1930s.
Twice car magazines said “With the failure of the model it is certain the car buyers won’t give yet another chance to the brand’s cars.”
Now look. They even have a new EV. Maybe the culprit could simply drive the EV Renault up, give the keys to the valet and watch for the explosions and fires from the flaws in the battery.
Was it plastered with brand new Trump ‘20 stickers?

The engine was in rear of that car not the front.
