Remember how we lashed out after 9/11, the Israelis after 10/7? The people of Russia are as incensed as you and I were on 9/12. Their bloodlust is up. If the intelligence agency responsible for this thinks the Russians won’t get the captured terrorists to talk, they could not be more wrong. If there was any possible way to hang this on ISIS or whoever, that fantasy was gone with the capture of an alive perpetrator. This entire insane Project Ukraine madness took a turn straight to hell yesterday.
I understand that perfectly. I think the western governments who encourage such things are beginning the realize how big a mistake the wrong move could be. In the US the gov has already spent any trust and goodwill and no one will believe ISIS did it. Russia has it’s own intelligence agencies who certainly aren’t inept and it comes down to what Russia believes.
