> There is no demand for this [EVs] and yet billion dollar companies are acting like it’s the wave of the future. <

I wonder if the fix is in.

Democrats: “After we win (cheat to win) in November, we’ll kick the EPA into high gear. The EPA will close thousands of gas stations for made-up code violations. Plus we’ll add all sorts environmental taxes to those gas-guzzlers. People will be forced to go with EVs.”

This will be a complete disaster. But even well-meaning liberals never think ahead.

"People will be forced to go with EVs"

Ev's are simply not acceptable for most people in the US. The might work OK for many families as a second car, but few can afford a $50,000+ second car. As a primary car, EVs are simply not acceptable, for many reasons: They take too long to charge. They need to be charged too often. In several years, when there's no alternative, there will be insufficient electrical power. They have limited space for passengers and cargo, especially when you consider their heavy empty weight. They cost too much to charge when not at home. They risk burning down your house if you charge them in your garage. You can't charge them in overnight in hotels and motels. Etc. None of these problems will be completely cured in the next two decades. In fact, most of them will be worse.

Too expensive. Only Mayor Pete can afford to buy an EV. Everyone else will take the bus.
