It used to be older workers had problems getting jobs.
Now, they are in huge demand.
People after 50ty still know how to work hard. The younger people are, the less work they do, and more perks they demand.
Down until Generation Z, who just do nothing, but demand all kind of vacations, benefits, on job exercise rooms, showers, food, etc.

Yep. Once people in my field found out I am retiring, I’ve gotten offers just because they know I’ll show up, can write and don’t have to have a phone surgically attached to my hand. Don’t even have to work hard, either. My financial advisor doesn’t like it though. He wants me to stop working totally and enjoy my IRA and whatever SS payments I get. It’s all about time and health.

That very much depends. Some companies have woken up, but a lot aren’t there yet and age discrimination is still an issue. Not to mention the added demands from racist DEI thinking.
