I had to hire for 2 technologists in our small company.

1-Any resume with pronouns I discarded without looking at

2- Also anyone from East Coast or Chicago I put at bottom of pile had no one from California wanting to come to small town Wisconsin

3-One showed up for interview with blue tinted hair...NEXT

4- looked at social media FB/instagram/twitter of others who interviewed- any social justice- black circle NEXT

Very happy to report the 2 kids hired are smart, motivated, and hard workers.

There are a few people at my place of employment that have added pronouns to their email signatures. For some reason, the HR department employees are required to use them but anybody outside of HR that uses them are invariably the insufferable Gen Z types. These are the fragile employees that will leave the room if they are triggered by an off-color joke or even a word somebody else says - like "Trump" for example!

I would definitely discard the resume of anybody who would put those silly pronouns on their darn resume! Those employees will be nothing but trouble.
