You're not the only one who noticed. Saw this out on teh Interwebz yesterday:
Something odd about that photo - “Were those the men pictured? Can’t tell at all since the photos are completely blurred and their faces covered.”
They sure look like the FIBS (similar clothes, buzz cuts, masks this time instead or Ray-Bans) we all have seen that show up at Trump Rallies.
Is ISIS taking fashion advice from the FIBS?
Short haircuts and clean shaven faces draw less suspicion and look less foreign than being bearded and wearing Muslim garb. The captured men wanted to be as inconspicuous as possible and Moscow is diverse enough that a non-Slavic looking man would not draw much attention unless they looked like the bearded and robed stereotype of a terrorist.
