I kind of understand their view of monarchy. Perhaps the natural civilization paradigm. You look at how people are mindlessly bedazzled by celebrities, create personality cults around politicians (like the Kennedys!) and you see why monarchy and its royal trapping have such a hold on people. If they don’t have “royalty” they’ll create it!
