Of course the engineering crew will have to meet DEI standards.
How long before they demand that the bridge be renamed? Did Francis Scott Key own slaves? He was a white male and the brother-in-law of Roger Taney, notorious for his opinion in the Dred Scott case.
Maybe they can find some noteworthy black American with a connection to Baltimore, like Frank Robinson.
