Translation: “But enough about this terrible tragedy. Let’s spin it to make it all about me...”

Exactly. He'll find a way to weave Beau's death into the story next.

"That was Beau's favorite bridge. His last words before dying in Baghdad, Afghanistan (or was it Kabul, Iraq?) were about that bridge."

He vividly remembers the time his son Beau died when a bridge in Iraq tragically collapsed on him.

From a book Myths After Lincoln:
Lincoln’s Funeral Train
A phantom funeral train is said to run regularly from Washington, D.C. to Springfield, Illinois, around the time of the anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s death, stopping watches and clocks in surrounding areas as it passes.

((My added point: The real Lincoln train carrying his casket was unable to get up several graded areas because so many mourners had thrown their flowers onto the tracks that the locomotive wheels slid on the moisture.))
////////////////////////
Canadian story from May 1908 tells of a ghost train with blinding lights that travelled on non-existent tracks.

The Silverpilen Train has been embraced in Stockholm, WI, where the local Swedish heritage has deep roots. The Silverpilen, or “Silver Arrow,” is said to be a mystical, silver-colored passenger train that appears at midnight, stopping at an abandoned station in the area. Passengers who board this train are believed to disappear…never to return…

Well this isn’t Ohio, so I guess it won’t take a year for Biden to get there...
