They are burying the visibility of DEI into human resources but still maintaining the goals in their hiring and movie making.

Talk is cheap.
They can’t get rid of woke without hiring non woke talent. Woke writers and directors and producers can’t help injecting their spurious religion into anything and everything they do.
The not too bright Disney Snow Woke actress stupidly trashed the movie.....

There is a reason for that and they did it to themselves so, don't care.
Taking a old story and "put a chick in it and make her gay" is really all they have.
Watch their movies from before 2000. Sure they had the woke stuff in it but there was still some semblance of story and character development. After 2012 things began to go badly down hill. That was when the writers began to avoid Disney.
Many of them could not say why, The House of Mouse was making them sign NDAs before talking to them about their not getting paid. The conversation was, "we ain't paying you JS." But it was quietly rumored that if you signed with Disney you were going to get screwed. So the bigger and better writers were avoiding them as did the talented new guys. After all the rumors were confirmed in 2020 they can not even hire bottom of the barrel independent script writers.
And I find it extremely funny.
It's difficult to figure out which eye to follow.
That hasn't worked out so well for your investors. Perhaps your instincts are the problem.

I didn’t even like the ones from 20 years before 2000.
Iger has run out of IP to buy and run into the ground. Disney will be broken up by PE and its destroyed IPs will be sold for pennies on the dollar.
There is plenty of IP, and they could create new IP - if they really wanted to.
My only question is when will the fire sale happen?

If you want to make a movie about a black female pirate just do it. That’s the thing with these lefties they just want to canabalize other’s work.
