Brazil is moving to regulate X after Elon Musk refused to comply with their anti-free speech demands.
Brazil Attorney-General Jorge Messias is lashing out after Musk refused to bend the knee.
“We cannot live in a society in which billionaires domiciled abroad have control of social networks and put themselves in a position to violate the rule of law, failing to comply with court orders and threatening our authorities.”
“It is urgent to regulate social networks.”
Looks like Musk isn’t backing down and Brazil will ban X

stolen elections have evil consequences.
You mean there are places where free speech isn’t allowed ? Who knew ?
Not a big deal.
What are so called “free speech” western countries going to do when starlink becomes more popular and they can’t block it
France, Brazil , Sweden etc

and how those requests violate Brazilian law.
This judge has brazenly and repeatedly betrayed the constitution and people of Brazil. He should resign or be impeached.
Shame
@Alexandre
, shame.
The election theft machine is WORLDWIDE. China and our Deep State (one the same?) is heavily involved.
Go get ‘em, Elon.
Naturally American “liberals” will side with the tyrant judge against free speech (to the extent that they’re aware of this matter).
I don’t think there is a win here.
Elon has the right to protect free speech.
The Brazilian government has the right to control their information space against outsiders. (agree, their government is as legitimate as the Biden government. but that’s a separate matter.)
For things to change favorably —Trump has to win back the white house and then the brazilian conservatives have to win back brazil.
All of that is possible.

It's possible. But not easy.
The Deep State in both countries can "cheat" their way to victory.
That Brazilian clown just gave X a huge boost.
The more they attack Musk because he champions free speech, the more they make themselves look bad and turn Musk into a modern day Martyr.
Bring it on!!!
This is essentially free advertising for X and makes Musk into a hero.
I predict some kind of jammer. They simply MUST maintain control!
The world was perfectly fine even before government got their fingers into the mass censorship game.
No, there is NO urgent need to regulate social media.
No, people didn’t all die on US roads before there was a 55 MPH speed limit, nor after.
No, people didn’t die from marijuana before the government made it a schedule I drug.
No, people don’t run around shooting each other if you let them bear arms.
The nanny state is popular today. If you say it’s for the children or national security, I don’t think there is anything too stupid or ridiculous that you couldn’t pass off in a law. But that doesn’t actually make it true.
Elon may not be perfect, but I admire him for having the C O Jones to stand up and say “NO SIR, I WILL NOT”.
..... You have an interesting point there ..... That may also be part of Musks Strategy .... However ..... Even though it may be a Noble Intent on his behalf .... It is entirely possible that the Global Elites are just waiting for him to complete his task .... Then when the finishing touches are put on the New World Order after the completion of the Great Reset ..... They will just simply take control of Starlink and use it for their own purposes .....
.
Because Biden installed a leftist regime.
