President Biden has repeated a lie that he was the first person in his family to attend college — more than three decades after first admitting it’s not true.
The oldest-ever president repeated the untrue claim while touting his efforts to bail out student loan borrowers during a stop Monday at a college in the swing state of Wisconsin.
“I, like an awful lot of people in this audience, was the first in my family to go to college and watched my dad struggle to get there,” he said.
Biden, 81, has been called out several times before for making the same claim.

Joe Biden has been an unapologetic inveterate liar for over 59 years now.
We’ve become so polarized that Biden voters just don’t care. Biden could make a speech where he did nothing but drool and babble, (what he does now, only worse), and it wouldn’t change a thing. Voting Dem is much more important that who they vote for.
Correction. He has been full of crap his whole life. I would imagine that they laughed at him in Law School.
The problem wasn’t the claim, it was the fact that chunks of the speech were originally spoken by UK Labour Neil Kinnock and Biden didn’t credit him, so he got done for plagiarism.

And the media would claim it was a brilliant speech. He is like Chance, in the movie “Being There”, where the simple minded gardener Chance was proclaimed as brilliant because of his stupid statements about gardening. Maybe his nickname should be “Chance”.

An obituary for his grandfather also acknowledges he enrolled in Santa Clara College after graduating from high school in Scranton, Pa.
