I never realized he was black. I thought he was Samoan or from some Central or South American country.
When I told my wife this she rolled her eyes at me.
The same eye-roll I got when I saw some dark haired woman on television as I walked by (I haven’t watched television for going on 30 years now) and everyone seemed to be paying close attention to her so I asked who she was.
My wife rolled her eyes with a clear ‘you-are-hopeless” look and said: “That’s Kim Kardashian.”
