The MAIN POINT that he made, which likely went over the heads of most here, was the way his colleges at NPR simply stop talking about a story once its been debunked (like Trump ‘collusion’ with Russia) and move on to the next story. This is in lieu of what is expected in these cases, which include OUTING ‘sources’ that fed them lies, APOLOGIZING to their audience, and putting processes in place to prevent similar recurrences.

The fact that NONE of these steps were taken PROVES that they’ve moved from being reporters (if they ever were) to being PLAYERS, and thus need to be dealt with on those terms.
