When you die you are baptized as a Mormon.
I’ll bet there will be GOBS of them that are going to fight for the privilege of doing that for me!
When you die you are baptized as a Mormon.
Just how do you figure that happens?
Unless you have relatives that are members of the Church of Jesus Christ doing genealogy and your name appears in their family tree, in a direct line, and they are actively engaged in performing proxy ordinances for deceased relatives, what you suggest is extremely unlikely.
In addition, such ordinances do not in any way take away the agency of the deceased. They can accept or reject what was done in their behalf. Baptism is an earthly ordinance and cannot be accomplished after one is dead. The proxy ordinance offers what is necessary to those beyond the grave, should they chose to accept it.
