I remember the cops in the Rodney King trial were found innocent by a jury of their peers. Then the Feds got involved, and brought charges against them in LA, a jury of Rodney Kings peers. That isn’t how it is supposed to be. For one, that is double jeopardy, secondly, their peers should be people from the neighborhood they live in. The benefit of the doubt should go for those facing jail or worse.
