I’m proud of her. We liked the Potter books - incredible imagination and wit went into them. But as an activist for the rights and dignity of women, she’s an even more extraordinary character.
Rowling is a deeper person than she lets on, I’ve thought for awhile. There is some profound Christian analogy beneath the surface of much of the Harry Potter series. Especially in the final novel.
