Israel is not the 51st state. His allegiance to Israel is an offense to American citizenship. He can move to Israel and renounce his US citizenship. Or shut up.
********
You apparently do not get that Israel is one of our primary allies in the Middle East and that Hamas wants to wipe Israel from the face of the earth while behaving in a devilish and evil manner.

Democrats will face a ballot-box reckoning over abandoning support of Israel. Over the years I have always questioned our knee-jerk aid and support of Israel but October 7 struck a nerve. HAMAS and its supporters, which are 99% of Palestinians, showed themselves to be animals by their attack, raping, beheading babies, killing, and taking hostages. Not just Israelis, but Americans. My immediate response is every member of HAMAS should be hunted down and killed. Even supporters deserve sanction. I am appalled to see Biden and Democrats defend HAMAS, resupply them, diminish the atrocities they committed AND completely ignoring the fact that American citizens are victims, even still held hostage, if they are alive at the point.
So what are Democrats today, supporters of HAMAS and their rape, beheading, hostage taking, and killing Americans or stand with Israel? And since we are not going in to level Gaza, we should aid Israel in doing so.

I don’t personally know you, but do you interact with many younger people?
Say 16-35.

A whole lot of people are “waking up” to the actions of Israel and liberal Jews.

They outnumber Jews and Christian Democrats many times over.
Israel won’t be a viable country in another generation if the path stays the same.

Believe me or not, it’s up to you.

I’m betting on Israel.

You don’t seem to get the essence what I meant. I answered someone who said the “Ukraine is not an ally”!
Who cares about these 5 words (treaty, agreement, accord, charter, memorandum, etc.) because they all point to the same thing: PARTNERSHIP and ALLIED activity!

Do you really think the points here below are indicating that America is NOT allied to Ukraine?? Really?

U.S. Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership (= Allies)

Preamble
The United States of America and Ukraine:

Affirm the importance of our relationship as friends and strategic partners. We intend to deepen our partnership to the benefit of both nations and expand our cooperation across a broad spectrum of mutual priorities.

Emphasize that this cooperation between our two democracies is based on shared values and interests. These include expanding democracy and economic freedom, protecting security and territorial integrity, strengthening the rule of law, and supporting innovation and technological advances.

Stress our mutual desire to strengthen our relationship across the economic, political, diplomatic, cultural, and security fields.

Confirm the importance of the security assurances described in the Trilateral Statement by the Presidents of the U.S., Russian Federation and Ukraine of January 14, 1994, and the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances in connection with Ukraine’s accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of December 5, 1994.

Affirm the Priorities for U.S.-Ukraine Cooperation (Road Map) signed on March 31, 2008 and the commitments to a strategic partnership made by Presidents Bush and Yushchenko on April 4, 2005.

What has he been waiting for? For a smart man, he is awfully slow on the uptake.

Dershowitz needs to realize the mainstream “Liberals” of his era are now in line with today’s Conservatives.

A Treaty is capable of creating a binding legal obligation, but requires Senate confirmation. The Budapest Memorandum did not create a legal obligation and everybody treated it as such. Nobody put boots on the ground for Ukraine and nobody was legally obligated to do so. Possibly, Ukraine might care. It appears ALLIED activity on the ground in Ukraine is not a thing. Those just trying to B.S. their way through might care enough to try to misrepresent a non-treaty as a treaty. Do prattle on.

So many better reasons to leave the Democrats. Does Israel REALLY need our aid. I think they would be fine with moral support.

U.S. Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership (= Allies)

REALLY!!

"[S]igning empty agreements, including vaguely signaling support for Ukraine’s sovereignty in November 2021" does not make allies. "Ukraine is not an ally."

https://www.defensepriorities.org/explainers/who-is-an-ally-and-why-does-it-matter

WHO IS AN ALLY, AND WHY DOES IT MATTER?

Natalie Armbruster and Benjamin H. Friedman October 12, 2022, at page 6:

As has become clear since Russia attacked it in February 2022, Ukraine is not a U.S. ally. Despite the heavy U.S. support that makes it a quasi-ally—over $60 billion in aid this year, intelligence support, and years of arms shipments and military training—the limit of the U.S. commitment is clear: no direct military involvement. As discussed below, this limit was sometimes deliberately obscured by top U.S. officials in their rhetoric and by the U.S. policies of holding open the prospect of Ukraine joining NATO and signing empty agreements, including vaguely signaling support for Ukraine’s sovereignty in November 2021.

Love America more than other countries is all I do. I don’t hate Israel. And they can and should defend themselves is my take. The way you frame the discussion tells where your priorities are. And your priorities don’t put America first apparently.

In his farewell address, Washington exhorted Americans to set aside their violent likes and dislikes of foreign nations, lest they be controlled by their passions: “The nation which indulges toward another an habitual hatred or an habitual fondness is in some degree a slave.”

I’ll take George’s advice over yours.

Could you try making sense - I realize that’s a challenge for you, but your rambling bullshit just doesn’t lead anywhere.
