President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign “plans to spend every day until November 5” hammering the issue of abortion and painting former President Donald Trump and Republicans as extreme, the Washington Post reported.
Biden campaign officials reportedly see abortion as a “potential silver bullet” and hope the issue will “mobilize their core voters, bring disaffected voters back into the fold, and make inroads with voters whom Democrats have often struggled to win,” White House reporter Tyler Pager wrote, noting that the tactic comes as many Americans are worried about Biden’s age and inflation, which “threatens to hurt his reelection.”
"There is no doubt that this issue is central to the contrast between us and Trump,” Biden campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon told the Post. “There is no way he can wiggle out of his ownership of this issue.”
“[Voters] are being reminded more and more of things they hoped to forget — the chaos and the pain that have come in the wake of Trump’s leadership,” O’Malley Dillon added.

Exactly. For months now, they’ve been trying to tell how great the economy is, crime is down, etc. and have been ridiculed for it. They must’ve had a meeting and realized that wasn’t gonna work anymore when people go grocery shopping and see their bills. His handlers must have decided abortion is the issue they’re going to run on.
If BJ or Obama talks about it then it works. Biden? He’ll let his lieutenants do it for him. That includes Newsom and the 2 mentioned.
Surprise surprise. And if republicans are stupid enough to repeat the “national abortion ban” fiasco of 2022, the democrats will be assured of another term.

Abortion was supposed to be “safe, legal and RARE”, which was part of the rationale for adopting Roe v. Wade in the first place. “Legal” it became, but in many instances in the practice, it also became unsafe, with a 50% mortality rate (the baby dies in almost every instance, plus some few mothers do not survive the procedure) and WAY too common.
Abortion may only peripherally considered to be a form of birth control, especially when so many other forms are much safer and and widely available. Abortion perhaps should be considered in the same light as body mutilations involved in an evil practice mislabeled as “transgender transformations”. In many instances, abortion results in sterility, as do most of these operations and hormone treatments that are supposed to “transform” male to female, or vice versa. The only transformation possible is male to neuter, or female to neuter, unable to reproduce.
And that may be the whole objective, to minimize or destroy the capability to reproduce.

I just wish that his mother had wanted and been easily able to get an abortion when pregnant with Joe.
Child killing and weed are now the most important American values. They will decide the election.
It makes perfect sense for them to spend every day talking about abortion, and the GOP should spend every day talking about the Swamp and the Border.
And nothing else. In fact, if there were to be a debate, that will be a requirement. Only the Border may be discussed.
If the Democrats want to refuse to debate, that’s up to them, but that is the requirement.
A recent poll showed that only 10% of voters considered abortion to be their top issue.
